Cut to the Chase Productions is holding an open casting call for their next feature film entitled “EREBUS” Non-Union / Paid (terms to be discussed). Please see below for details and character descriptions. See attached links for Media Reel and teaser trailer from one of their films.
Please RSVP, prior to casting call date, with attached Resume and Head Shot to; CutToTheChaseProductions@gmail.com. In the subject line please include which role or roles you would like to read for. Monologues are allowed at the time of audition, in addition to reading the sides, but not required. Sides will be sent upon request and / or available at the casting call. Filming is scheduled to start in Rhode Island in March 2012. Flexible availability is a must between the dates of March 17, 2012 - April 08, 2012.

ROLES :
Benny - (Lead) Male 21-28. Clean cut professional, Journalist. Benny has an affable nature, but an inherent level of sarcasm.
Robert Neville - (Lead) Male 30-40, Caucasian, Weathered. Robert is a man with the weight of the world on his shoulders, yet, can turn off and on the charm to hide his secret.
Courtney -(Lead) Female Mid 20s, Very attractive, low self esteem. The sexy new co-star of the show. Courtney is an aspiring actress with no interest in the paranormal but this is a paying gig for Courtney. Role requires nudity and a very intense physical scene.
Sheriff Grahame - (Lead) Male Mid 40s, Authoritative looking. Stern but friendly. Your typical small town, “old timey” lawman. Kind, but you wouldn’t want to cross him.
Frank Martin - (Lead) Male Late 30s, Caucasian. Hardened beyond his years. He’s seen it all, and it doesn’t affect him anymore. Frank is solemn, kind, and a straight shooter.
Amy -(Lead) Female 12-15, Slender, Blond. “Amy” has been a resident of the hotel for a very long time. She wears the mask of terror, and is a captive mostly throughout.
Caretaker - (Supporting) Male 60-80, Mysterious, Serious demeanor, Rough around the edges.
Jeff - (Lead) Male Mid 30s, Business casual. The team leader / producer of a struggling web based paranormal show. Jeff is the professional face of this team and the on-set line producer. He’s got a chill demeanor but can flip on the business when needed.
Kyle -(Lead) Male Early 30s, Handsome, confident, swarthy. The seasoned talent / host of the show.
Josh -(Lead) Male, Mid 20s, The Camera operator. Josh is young and does his job well. Josh shows great interest in the paranormal as well as on set tasks.
Walter - (Supporting) Caucasian, Older, male. The look of wisdom, he’s seen it all coming and going. Typical New England salt.
Cat -(Lead) Female Late 20s, one of the tech girls, Cat is into geek wear, video games and computers. Cat, like most sound people, gets super pumped about things that interest her.
Lauren -(Lead) Lauren is Jeff’s counterpart as a line producer. She is all business and resents the fact she has to be on set.
Bill - (Supporting) Male, Late 30s. Professional, business type. Bill is the assistant to Greg Douglas, and serves as Frank’s liaison, showing him around the island during his stay.
Greg Douglas - (Supporting) Male, Early 50s. Clean cut business type. Greg is head of the historical society and hires Frank to stay at Gorham House and photograph their properties.
