I am a real Bostonian Woman with an authentic Boston accent, who not only acts, but does her own fight scenes and stunts as well!!! How everything started--I stepped into a dojo and trained in a Martial Art called Capoeira on and off for about two years. I got enough courage to get into acting by starting off doing dinner theatre. I am an original cast member in a dinner theatre called the "Claddagh Bing." I am a bridesmaid named Mia Midori and I come out with my Nun-Chucks.
I also have worked on big set like the Game Plan and the Women. I was also in an independent film called "Sides" and played a female bouncer alongside Jon Fiore from the Soprano's and Boston Comedian Lenny Clark. I did one season of an internet series called "High Heel Samurai" and did my own stunts and fight scenes. I had done a few other independent films such as "Gossimer" and "Brothers". In Gossimer, I play an evil husk--and did my own stunts. In Brothers, I actually got to play a mom and worked with kids. In recent Independent Films, I have played a nun, in a film called "Nunsense". In Harley Quinn, which was a fan film, I was the first woman ever to play Detective Montoya, and this is all related to the Batman comics.
In films that are in production, I am in a film that has green screen involved, and I play a warrior and I have to have make up put on from head to two, which takes two hours.
The name of this film is called "Anikryua" and it will possibly be released in Japan, China, and the USA. I also will be playing a cop in film that is based on a true story called "Luke 11". I am looking forward to a fight scene in an independent fan film, which is called "Indiana James"---which is actually quite a big production for a fan film, with real planes and such!
I am also doing a stage play and having a ball, in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and playing Mrs. Teevee---I am excited about this, and enjoy doing these shows--it is my favorite movie of all time. I am also trying very hard to meet my idol Jackie Chan and work with him, because this is the one man in the world that I truly want to work with. He also inspires me to do what I do in films.
I'm going to leave on my own quote here..."Making impossiblities realities....." |
