My name is Sean Taylor and I am a Final Cut Pro editor and instructor at CSB in Farmington & Stratford CT. I am a Video Production graduate from The Art Institute of Philadelphia; I have nine years experience working in all areas of the television industry. I received extensive training in all aspects of Production. Including Live Broadcasting and In House Production for Production Houses.
I am proficient in AVID, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, iMovie HD and Casablanca Non-Linear Editing Systems. I also have experience in A/B roll editing, PhotoShop, Illustrator, iDVD HD, DVD Studio Pro and Pro Tools digital recording system.
I have been working in Live Broadcasting for over Nine years, this includes Philly TV News, Philly VTV located in Center City Philadelphia. One year experience as a Senior Editor and Camera Operator for the Omniplex 2000 Inc. located in Camden NJ. Two years of Grip & ENG experience working at Motion Inc. located in Hartford, CT. Currently working for ESPN as a Camera Operator and Video Operator and a CPU Senior Editor. In Addition to my education, I attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh where I completed the Studio 101 summer program, which involved hands on production for numerous freelance jobs.
