Corliss Blakely, a seventh generation Vermonter, was born in St. Albans
where she presently lives.
Corliss paints still-life and Vermont landscapes in a classically realist style. Corliss is internationally recognized for her work in several media, including watercolor, oil, and egg tempera. Her paintings hang in collections on every continent.
Corliss now is painting on the iPhone and iPad. It has opened up a new world for artists. The world is changing and artists now have a new canvas to create on.
