Troy Walcott was born and raised in Hartford, Connecticut. Troy graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2002 with a degree in Communications Sciences.
Troy began entertaining when he won a contest sponsored by UCTV, (UConn Student Television) the local campus network, and ultimately hosted the popular campus TV show "Holla @ Me!" for 2 1/2 years, and was featured in his senior yearbook.
Troy's thirst for entertaining continued after graduation, and he began taking acting classes with NEAT in the Summer of '03. Troy was cast in the short film "Measles" on his very first audition , and has performed on stage and in film for the last 6 years.
Troy has recently appeared in After Play at Connecticut Cabaret Theatre, and has performed at Clockwork Theatre, The Theatre Guild of Simsbury, and with the Acts Factory player. Troy is presently taking classes at the Actor's Gym while filming his sixth project, "Ditch" from Fierro Films. |
