Stephen Abrams recently moved to Rhode Island from New York where he was the Program Manager/Television and Radio Producer for the American Theatre Wing and Education Director for the Tony Awards. Prior to that, he was the Associate Director of Education for Theatre Development Fund where he had the unique opportunity to introduce live theatre to over 4,000 New York City public school students each year. He is a recipient of a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Theatre from New York University Steinhardt School of Education, during which he gained experience developing youth workshops around progressive social issues both in NYC and London. Stephen attended the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music where he studied Acting and performed in several productions including Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune and Fortinbras. Other performance credits include: The Exonerated, Kerry Max Cook; A Little Night Music, Heinrick; Godspell, Stephen; A Chorus Line, Paul; West Side Story, Tony and Starting Here, Starting Now. Directing Credits include: Someone Who'll Watch Over Me, Closer Than Ever, Talk To Me Like The Rain and Let Me Listen, The Saloon Keepers Daughter, and Blood Wedding.
