Sophia Gilberto is a serious eleven-year-old girl with an acting mission. She has been performing on stage since she was 5 years old. Sophia just landed the lead role as Darla Dorr in "The Sampler Girl", a new movie short which is planned to be a TV Pilot this year. She just completed a Sci-Fi film trailer to 'be announced', and was just cast as a principle actor in "Oldbury Hill" webisode as "Julie", airing this October. Sophia just finished her 1st 48hr film this summer, which gave her inspiration to write, direct and act in her own film.      Sophia has modeled for BayState Parents Magazine and Almost Famous Magazine in 2008. Sophia was also invited to be a guest on PBS Kids Dragonfly TV, planned to air in the Fall 2008. Sophia takes acting classes, dance, participates in theatre camps and is involved in film making and costume makeup classes.
