Sonya began acting five years ago and has been hooked since her first audition! She has performed on stage with Essayons Theatre Company, Playwright's Platform, TheatreZone, Zeitgeist Stage Company and many times with Another Country Productions. Her favorite role was in 2007 with Theatre@First in Twelve Angry Jurors in the role that Henry Fonda made famous: Juror #8.
2008 has not only marked her first year as a member of Playwrights' Platform Actor in Residence Program and ImprovBoston's Film Division, but a return to Another Country Productions SLAMBoston and two 48 hour film projects (Boston and Providence).
Sonya has also appeared in many short and independent films, corporate videos and television commercials as well as several television and feature film productions such as, Brotherhood, Underdog, The Game Plan, 21, 27 Dresses, The Great Debaters, The Lonely Maiden and The Box.
