She received her early training at New Mexico Ballet Company, Ballet West, and San Francisco Ballet School, and began her professional career at the age of 13. She has appeared in numerous musicals, most notably Phantom of the Opera, 42nd Street, and A Chorus Line.      Sheridan is a gymnast and a choreographer as well.
