Shanette Wilson was born and raised in Newport, R.I. In September 2003 she moved to Jacksonville, Florida and just 6 months later is when her acting career took off. While attending college she landed 2 roles in one of her school plays. From there she was cast in 4 different plays in various theaters around the Jacksonville area. In April 2006 Shanette decided to pack up and head back north to explore a career in film. Since then she has landed roles in 3 feature films in Rhode Island. Shanette is a hard worker who takes pride in what she does and is always working on improving her acting techniques. Her goal is to maintain a long and successful acting career and learn as much about her craft as possible.
