Shana Carr, SAG/AEA Soprano/Singer/Actress/Musician/Stunt Double/Comic was born in Needles, CA and raised in Grand Junction, CO, where she attended undergrad at Mesa State College for a BA in Music/Vocal Performance, subsequently attending the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA, for a MM in Opera Performance. She has been diligently working on her career as a versatile theatre/stage, film and TV performer and she recently became Bi-Coastal by relocating to LA. Her most recent stage appearance was as the Virgin Mary (a new character added for this particular production) in Jesus Christ Superstar Directed by Robert Johanson at North Shore Music Theatre in Beverly, MA. She also recently appeared in the new Mark Burnett and Steven Spielberg show on Fox TV, On The Lot , starring in Hilary Graham's 1-minute film BUS #1. Shana's newest film project was portraying the role of Iris in the new critically acclaimed and politically charged Indie Film, Green Grass by Karen Webb and Directed by Jeff Craddock. Look for Shana in Disney/Touchstone Pictures feature film Directed by Peter Hedges, Dan In Real Life, opposite Steve Carell (Dan Burns), as the late Suzanne Burns on DVD now. Shana is a proud member of both SAG and AEA.
