Rusty Paine is from Massachusetts where he began his theatre training with the Drama Training Institute while in high school. In addition to having studied Comparitive Literatures at UCONN, he also studied at University of Hartford where he has performed in several productions such as Oleanna (John), Baby Dance (Richard), and The Guillotine. He also worked on an independent film by a Univ. of Hartford professor Sundeep Mupidi. Rusty has done voice over work for a local radio commercial and can be found featured in the popular "Joe and Bob" internet ads for EMC Corporation. Rusty's varied roles on stage include John Proctor in The Crucible with New Works New Haven and as Jonathan in Arsenic and Old Lace with All About Us Inc. He has also performed in the premiere of 3's with Peripitus Theatre Company and toured New England with Classical Players A Midsummer Night's Dream. He also was nominated for a Milo Award for his comedic performance in The Foreigner at Park Road Playhouse in Hartford, which he starred in with his sister Carolyn Paine. Rusty's specialities include his training in stage combat, exceptional comedic timing, and his great voice impressions and accents.
