Philip Magcalas dabbles in a little bit of everything. He hails from the faraway desert (both moral and cultural) of Las Vegas, but has been a devoted resident of Boston for a few years.
An Honor Thespian since high school, he has directed and acted in a number of stage and film productions, comedic, dramatic and otherwise, gaining a number of superior ratings in choir and drama festivals alike, along the way. He was also a regular performer for the duration of Bragging to Children's weekly sketch/improv show "Making up for Mondays."
Philip lays unofficial claim to having been the first Filipino Frank Butler, in a production of Annie Get Your Gun.
The Co-Founder of Boston-based Milk and Cookie Productions, Philip also has experience in writing, directing, and editing. Milk and Cookie Productions is currently in production on the as-of-yet Untitled follow-up to their debut film, The Quarter-Life Crisis, which Philip wrote and directed. Philip is moving onwards with an assortment of films and screenplays in the pipeline.
