A “One Woman Comedy Show” presenter, featuring Peggy Melanson, A.K.A. “Chef Nostalgia, “ Writer and Teller of Merry Tales of Mirth and Merriment.
Melanson recently moved from the Boston area to Western Massachusetts. She is a Humorist, Public Speaker, and Storyteller for Grownups, Writer, and Artist/Educator. In a Bill Cosby Storytelling style, she uses personal experiences as tools to teach the value of turning life’s hard knocks into comedy routines.
Chosen as 2002 Olympic Torchbearer she was also awarded “Cool Woman of America” by American Movie Classics Television Network. She was also selected “Ms. Congeniality” by the Ms. Senior Massachusetts Pageant.
Specializing in humor and inspirational pieces, she has lectured and performed her “One Woman Comedy Show” at the Legendary Club Passim. Harvard University, Tufts University, several Cooking Schools, several Professional Women’s Associations and at Country clubs. She has also written columns for several New England magazines and newspapers including the Greenfieldoptimist.com and Town Reminder.
