Marlon Carey
Actor - Boston, MA
Marlon Carey (aka Inphynit) is a dynamic performer whose genre-defying antics always generate excitement and positive energy.
Blending his rhythmic and often surrealistic poetry with his considerable musical talents, Inphynit concocts a magical brew that incorporates reggae, hip hop, spoken word and slam poetry for a fantastic and fun performance. An EP release of his highly anticipated debut CD entitled There Is No Plan, Be. is available now.
With regards to his acting abilities, Carey has been gracing the stage since the age of 15 performing in a local youth acting troupe called the Dimock Street Voices. For the next few years, he would go on to co-write and co-direct plays with the excellent director James Vesce. In college, he performed in Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream, Twelfth Night, and Othello (in which he played Iago) He has been working with Bruce Reilly of late with the 1000lbs Gorilla Theater company in Voice of the Voiceless and currently House of Death at the Perishable Theatre.
