Kathleen O'Neil began acting again at the community theater level in 2003. During that time she earned a nomination for best supporting actress in a musical for her work in The Music Man at Little Theatre of Manchester. Her most notable performance was the dual role of Avril/Mallory in Rocky Hill Town Theatre's production of City of Angels, of which critics said,
"Kathleen is mesmerizing in her variety of spellbinding outfits or even more spellbinding near lack thereof. In this role, she is the stuff of which men's dreams are made."
Kathleen began focusing on screen work in mid-2005 and to date has appeared in several student and independent films, a public television soap opera, an industrial for Timex, and as a stand-in for the ESPN mini-series, The Bronx is Burning.
Her biggest role to date came last year in the local feature film, Fishwrap, where she played a slightly crazy, but supportive sister to the main character.
Watch for Kathleen in the background of several upcoming TV shows and movies, including Law & Order, Brotherhood, 27 Dresses, Revolutionary Road, and This Side of Truth.
