Kandace Cummings began training with Carter Thor Studios in September 2006 began her film career on the independent scene in January 2007.      She has done multiple feature films, shorts and commercials in the area with her first leading role being alongside Hero's television star, Jimmy Jean-Louis in the film Soul Sisters.      Just recently, Kandace began her own production company, Pburnt Productions, which has just completed it's first short film called Karma's Choice. This film was recently showcased at the Baker Street Showcase in Boston, recieving astonishing feedback and reviews.      Kandace loves the MA/RI Film community and continues to strengthen her acting ability by continuously working with local Boston directors on features, and commercials. In addition to this, Kandace has also begun to strengthen her theatre and stage presence in the MA/RI area with the completion of The Exonerated in Providence and her upcoming Shakespeare play, Twelfth Night in Boston.      Kandace has a deep appreciation for anyone and everyone who is a performing artist and has the guts to expose who they are to the world regardless of the judgements that may be received.      She is honored to have taken the emotional journeys that so many fear.
