Jonathan is an actor and a strong believer in the idea of local artists representing their roots. Jonathan grew up in the Providence area and, upon graduating from La Salle Academy, studied acting at Guilford College in Greensboro, NC. After completing his thesis role he embarked on an extended sabbatical throughout western Europe, where he immersed himself in languages, arts and cultures. Following his travels, Jonathan returned to Rhode Island and has acted in dozens of theatrical productions including roles with Trinity Repertory Co., The International Melville Society and Pawtucket's own Mixed Magic Theatre where he also served as Artistic Associate. His favorite roles include Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Prior Walter in Angels In America. Recently Jonathan has plunged headfirts in to Rhode Island's blossoming film and television scene. His current dream is to land a recurring role on Showtime's "Brotherhood". Jonathan currently lives in Providence with his cat, Buddy Cianci. |
