Jessica Torrant Painter (Contemporary) - Ellington, CT
My passion for creating has been an ever present force guiding my life and experiences. I joyfully identify myself as a "full time artist", and enjoy selling my original artwork online, through private sales, and exhibitions.      I recently hosted the "Art 4 People" International Modern Art Festival in Connecticut, which featured the work of artists from all of the US, UK, France, Australia, Hungary, and Japan. This event was inspired by my participation in London's "Raw Arts Festival", May 2005.      I have exhibited in juried shows in Somers and Torrington CT, and Newburyport MA. I am a member of Artwell Gallery in Torrington, and have taught private and group lessons for children and adults.      I studied fine art at the Universities of New Hampshire and California, and received my BA in Painting in 1999.
