Jessica L. Therrien graduated from the Massachusetts College of Art with a BFA in Studio for Interrelated Media focusing on Film, Video, and Animation. Jess then started her film career with a highly coveted internship with Olive Jar Animation Studios. Olive Jar is best known for their stop motion animation work for MTV, Disney's "Nightmare Before Christmas", and Cartoon Network station identifications. Since Jess is qualified to work in several behind the scenes departments, her work has taken her throughout the New England area including Frederick Wiseman's distribution company Zipporah Films, the Rhode Island International Film Festival, Providence Pictures, and A&M Productions. Most recently Jessica work on the feature films "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past", "The Surrogates", and day played on "Hatteras Hotel"'s second unit. She is also a fine artist and has held the position as Art Director/Production Designer for past 48hr Film Challenges in Boston and Providence for team LTJFilms and I Said Walrus on the National 48 Challenge. She is a current applicant for the IATSE United Scenic Artists Local 829.
