J.J. Leslie Entertainer (Comedian) - Boston, MA
J.J. Leslie is a 7 foot tall, 410 pound comic who strikes an imposing figure in comedy clubs and stages around Boston and New York City. Behind his size is a disarming and friendly personality and a deviant comedic mind. His act is a personality tour-de-force careening across every genre of standup comedy. He has performed with Steven Wright, Louis CK, Gary Gulman, Brian Kiley, Julius Sharpe, Andy Blitz, Tony V, DJ Hazard, Eugene Mirman, Todd Barry, and the Walsh Brothers. In New York, J.J. has showcased at the New York Improv, Gotham Comedy Club, and Upright Citizens Brigade. In Boston, J.J. is a regular at the Comedy Studio and frequents The Comedy Connection, Dick Doherty's Comedy Vault, and Nicks Comedy Stop. J.J. is currently studying Improv Comedy at Improv Boston under the instruction of artistic director Will Luera. He is also part of the Harvard Screenwriting Workshop with Susan Steinberg, where he his developing his first feature length screenplay, a dramedy called "Distraction."
