Hook, Line & Zinger is an Improvisational Comedy Troupe from Central Massachusetts. We base our performance around a 1/2 Sketch - 1/2 Improv arrangement with games and sketches mocking anything from modern society to popular television shows.
The idea for the troupe began in May of 2008 with members Daniel Wood & Adam Kennedy. Gathering friends, searching local comedy acts, and posting on craig's list finally resulted in a 7 member troupe with ages ranging from 18 - 47. We are currently a very healthy blend of personalities, but are still welcoming newcomers to audition and potentially become a part of the family.
Our performance plan can stretch from a short 20 minute act to a 2 hour show with a 15 minute intermission. Any occasion is a good occasion for comedy! We do house parties, comedy clubs, open mics, and anywhere else that welcomes us. Payment in beer and good company is probably more valuable than the dollar these days, and so we are willing to work out pretty much anything. |
