Giovanni Alabiso Entertainer (Comedian) - Peabody, MA Giovanni Alabiso Giovanni is in the current production of Fishnet-Networks-net, which is an audience interactive sketch/improv show running in Boston's Theatre District. Giovanni first got involved in comedy, theatre, film and broadcasting in high school and college before becoming a journalist, covering news and sports in the region for several years. His interest in comedy was re-ignited in March 2008 when he began performing short form improv at the Cambridge Improv Incubator. He then won an improv survivor contest, encouraging him to go through the Improv Boston program, where he performed in several shows at the theatre including the Open Comedy Jam, Sketch Prov, and Who's Afraid of the Improv? He has also acted in Improv Boston film shorts as well as extra work in local independent productions. He is a member of the short-form improv troupe Lost Marbles and founder of the long-form improv troupe Active Ingredients. Both troupes perform throughout greater Boston. He also performs stand-up comedy throughout the region. |
