Since 1997, I have amassed a variety of experience directing independent films as well as theatrical productions and commercial projects. Used Books, a short film I wrote and directed, was an official selection for the 2007 Rhode Island International Film Festival. Under my direction The Pitch, a 48 Hour Film Project, won awards for Audience Favorite and as 2nd Runner Up. For the Boston 48 Hour 2009, I directed an entire film in one shot with no cuts called Lake Shore, Two Bedroom. In 2008, I simultaneously directed two films—Rashomon in Pear Shape (horror) and Pear Shaped Rashomon (thriller)—for the 48 Hour Film Project. I finished up with my last 48 hour, a full musical, The Best Part of Staying Up, with four musical numbers in it. Some of my other film projects include Half-Written and Folded in Two. Commercially, I have directed two advertisements for a ZipCar contest and one comedic infomercial for Bitch Magazine, both of which won the contest. I have done a number of industrials as well as other projects. I have also produced over 10 short films and trailers and a number of commercials and industrial projects and have just completed work on my first feature film entitled, "Cost of the Living: A Zom Rom Com."

Theatrically, have directed six award-winning scripts from the Rhode Island International Film festival’s ScriptBiz—an annual conference for screenwriters. I have also directed two children's plays entitled, A Midsummer Night's Midterm & Little Women. From 1997 through 2000, I created and directed Reality Check—a theatre troupe at Franklin Pierce University that presents engaging skits on teen issues for local schools and community centers. In 2005, I returned to Franklin Pierce University and have since held the position of Professional Coordinator and Directing Mentor of summer theatre workshops for the cast of Reality Check. I also produce Providence's Bring Your Own Improv, an audience participation improv troupe.

I continue to develop my acting skills through performances in feature and independent films, as well as theatrical works. I have completed many creative roles in feature films such as Atomic Brain Invasion, Nun of That and McMulligan's Hovel. I am a producer and performer of Providence's Bring Your Own Improv, an audience participation improv troupe. At the age of twenty-one, I starred in Blood Wedding—an off West End theatrical performance in London. For four years, I was a lead actor in the Providence-based dinner theatre troupe, Murder On Us.

Finally, I teach acting, theater and filmmaking classes for youth throughout New England.

I am a 2000 graduate (Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication and a minor in Theatre Arts) of Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, New Hampshire and currently reside in Providence.
