Dana Goodman graduated from NYU with a degree in Cinema Studies and Italian. At NYU she held an internship with Focus Features/Rogue Pictures where she was an assistant to the Executive Office and worked on films such as "Brokeback Mountain" and "Something New". She also interned for the independent studio Decoy Film Properties. Locally, she interned as George T. Marshall's assistant and a venue manager for the Rhode Island International Film Festival of 2005. In 2006 Dana joined the crew of local indie feature "Sleather" as costume designer/supervisor and part of the art department. She also did costume design for the local indie feature "Straight Faced". Dana's team Ourob'onda participated in the Providence 48Hr Film Project with their short "Are You Serious?". Dana has written and directed 3 other short films of which, "Parachute Boy" was selected for the local artists screening at the 2006 Rhode Island International Film Festival. She is now volunteering with "Meet the Filmmakers" public access program. Dana is seeking crew positions and/or a full time position at a production studio. Her long term goal is to work in international distribution and acquisitions.
