Chris is the oldest of seven children raised in a Chicago suburb. Though she was interested in performing from a very young age, she believed everyone wanted to be an actor, "...so why would I do it?" Instead, she majored in Economics and Psychology in college and went on to complete her MBA at Northwestern University. She had a successful career in Marketing management and Marketing consulting (and had also picked up a Masters in Education, just for kicks) before taking a leap and starting over again as a professional actor in 2007. She's never had as much fun, and certainly never looked back. "The psychic was right", Chris has said of the intuitive who told Chris in 2003 that her life's path should be performing for others. While Chris has more than two dozen commercial and industrial credits, as well as five feature films (including the lead in 2009's When North Winds Blow) and countless shorts, she has gone back to school to work on her craft. She is currently studying the 'Stanford Meisner' Technique at the William Esper Studio in New York City. |
