Vinnie Earnshaw (aka. Chicago Vin) is a professional Actor, Musician, & Songwriter. A graduate of the School of Hard Knocks & Dirty Socks, Vin has always lived his life on the edge; sometimes of the razor, sometimes of the rainbow. He was bitten by the Bug on his first acting gig as an “Accident Survivor” in the Showtime series, Brotherhood. Following the muse, he took training at Perishable Theater Art School, in Providence, RI, and is now a member of The Screen Actors Guild as well as The American Federation of Television & Radio Artists. In four years, he has worked on 22 major film & television productions. Highlights of which include credited roles in American Experience: Walt Whitman, Tell Tale (Vinnie the Bartender), & Hachiko, A Dog’s Story. He also had a lead role (Lou) in A Writer’s Moon; a Best of Providence 2007 48HR Film Festival Finalist for which he also composed & performed the soundtrack. Chicago Vin, the musician, has toured extensively in the USA
and Canada with the likes of the Luther “Georgia Boy” Johnson Chicago Blues Band, Jack Smith & the Rockabilly Planet, & Loaded Dice. His recordings appear on labels: Rounder, Flying Fish, tone-cool, Schoolkids, Soundwag, & Blues Matters Intl.
