I have been acting since my Sophomore year in High School, but in truth I have been performing my whole life. I discovered my true passion as a chorus memeber in my High School production of "Bye Bye Birdie" and have been on stage ever since. But it wasn't until my college years (1991 - 1995) at Franklin Pierce in New Hampshire (now Franklin Pierce University) that I started to come into my own. Since then, I have appeared in over 100 shows in Community Theatre's across Eastern Massachusetts with no signs of ever slowing down.
Some of my favorite, more memorable roles have included (but are not limited to): At Vokes Theatre in Wayland, Ma: Hedda Gabler (Eljert Lovborg), A Man for All Seasons (Henry VIII), Urinetown (Officer Barrell), The Twilight of the Golds (Rob Stein), The Crucible (John Proctor), Wonder of the World (Captain Mike), Amadeus (Venticelli II), Fortinbras (Fortinbras); at Quannapowitt Players in Reading, Ma: Three Days of Rain (Pip/Theo), True West (Lee), Breaking the Code (Ron Miller), Moonlight and Magnolias (Victor Fleming), The Shape of Things (Phillip); at Hovey Players in Waltham, Ma: Speed the Plow (Charlie Fox), Stones in his Pockets (Jake Quinn), Second (Man), Some Girls (Guy); at Stoneham Theatre in Stoneham, Ma.(Equity): Guys on Ice ! (Lloyd); at Manhattan Theatre Club in New York City, NY (Off-Broadway): Last Night (Nate); at Concord Players in Concord, Ma: Cabaret (Ernst Ludwig); at Curtain Call Theatre in Braintree, Ma: One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (McMurphy), Art (Marc), Lonely Planet (Carl), The Dining Room (Ensemble), Lend Me A Tenor (Max), The Foreigner (Ellard), The Nerd (Axel), Broadway Bound (Eugene); at ACME Theatre in Maynard, Ma: Faithful (Tony); at Turtle Lane Players in Newton, Ma: The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Neville); at North Quincy Alumni Theatre in North Quincy, Ma: The Unexpected Guest (Michael Starkwedder), The Boys Next Door (Lucien P. Smith); at Massasoit Community College in Brockton, Ma: The Crucible (John Proctor), UrineTown (Officer Lockstock); at Company Theatre in Norwell, Ma: A Streetcar Named Desire (Stanley Kowalski), Show Boat (Steve Baker), Ragtime (Willie Conklin); at The Footlight Club in Jamaica Plain, Ma: Glengarry Glen Ross (Ricky Roma); at Bay Colony Productions in Foxborough, Ma: Once in a Lifetime (Jerry Hyland), I Hate Hamlet (Andrew Rally), Oliver (Bill Sykes), Tommy (Uncle Ernie); at Fiddlehead Theatre in Norwood, Ma: The Odd Couple (Speed), Beauty & the Beast (Monsieur D'Arque), Cabaret (Ernst Ludwig), Cinderella (The King)... and as stated before, those are just a few.
I love being onstage, playing the part. I am not against exploring new theatre groups and love the challenge of a new house to work in. I am also looking into maybe getting into more screen acting opportunities. I am an avid movie fan and always have been, so looking more towards the screen is definately a logical choice to keep advancing my acting career.
