Recently voted Best Roots Female Vocalist, Best Singer/Songwriter, and Best Local Act by Motif Magazine's reader's poll 2006, Becky is no stranger to awards. She also picked up her 9th Providence Phoenix Award this year in the Folk Singer/songwriter category. After years of fronting a band, Becky has decided to get stripped down for a while to explore her songwriting and see what she can do without much noise behind her. She's been voted Best Female Vocalist 5 times by the reader's of the Providence Phoenix Music Poll, she's opened for national acts such as Joan Jett, America, Judi Collins, and the Gin Blossoms, and she's 5 independent CDs since 1998.
