Becki Dennis is a recent graduate of Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA, where she majored in musical theatre and minored in dance. While in Pittsburgh, she performed professionally with both the Kuntu Repertory Theatre, founded by August Wilson, and the Jewish Theatre of Pittsburgh. Since returning home, Becki has played Chiffon in Little Shop of Horrors with Turtle Lane Playhouse, Dianna in Break with Image Theatre, Elizabeth Proctor and Mary Warren in the Salem Witch Dungeon Museum’s historical re-enactment show, and a customer in a Dunkin Donuts industrial. As a dancer, she has performed at Gus Giordano's Jazz Dance World Congress, Disney World's Magic Music Days, the touring cast of Dance Prism's The Nutcracker, and was a featured dancer on an episode of MTV's "TRL."
Ms. Dennis has studied at Emerson College, Berklee College of Music, North Shore Music Theatre, and Broadway Dance Center; and has been on the faculty for Point Park’s Community Outreach Partnership Center, Boston Sports Clubs for Kids, the Donna Miceli Dance Center, the Jewish Community Center of Pittsburgh, Tiny Tunes, and the Paige Conservatory of Performing Arts. Her work as a choreographer includes shows such as Into the Woods at Andover High School, Mahalia Jackson at the Kuntu Repertory Theatre, and Godspell at Sto-Rox High School.
She has been trained in all styles of dance, ranging from ballet, jazz, tap, modern, lyrical, hip-hop, etc.
