Becki Dennis is a Boston native who returned home to pursue a career in the arts after receiving a B.A. in Musical Theatre from Point Park University's prestigious Conservatory of Performing Arts in Pittsburgh. Since graduating, she has performed all over New England in productions at regional theatres such as the Ogunquit Playhouse, the Palace Theatre, Seacoast Repertory Theatre, and the Boston Center for the Arts. She has had principal roles in films, television shows, and commercials, as well as featured roles in major motion pictures. Her national commercial for "Boys Town" is currently airing on Fox, and she was chosen to compete in the final round of the acting competition TV show "Casting Call", with judges Joe Piscopo, Morgan Fairchild, and Adrian Zmed.
     As a singer, Becki has sung with both Big Smile Entertainment and the Victorian Carolers, at events like the Boston Marathon and the Faneuil Hall Tree Lighting. Likewise, as a dancer, she has danced at the Jazz Dance World Congress and on MTV's "TRL". She has acted in interactive theatre, as well, having played a variety of roles in numerous improv-based comedy wedding and murder mystery shows.
     Becki has also done some print modeling and voice-over work. She can be seen in advertisements for such companies as Progressive Insurance and Peter Pan Bus Lines, having worked with some of Boston's top photographers. Her voice-over experience includes recording audio-dramas and a PBS commercial for "Nova Science Now".
     Becki is not only a performer, she has choreographed and/ or directed over ten musicals, many of them for Stoneham Theatre's "young company" and Andover High School. Most notably, her choreography of "A Chorus Line" was nominated for a North Shore Music Theatre Award for "Best Choreography". She has also taught theatre and dance classes to children of all ages for several years.
     In addition to the training she received while a theatre major at Point Park Conservatory, Becki has studied at Emerson College, Berklee College of Music, C.P. Casting, Maura Tighe Casting, Improv Asylum, and Broadway Dance Center. She is a member of SAG, AFTRA, StageSource, and Women in Film and Video, and is represented for print work by Image Makers Models.
