Amy
Lynn Budd is a theatre director, performer,
and producer based in Providence. She has
directed plays for NewGate Theatre, Perishable
Theatre, Brown University’s MFA Playwriting
Program, All Children’s Theatre Ensemble,
The Manton Avenue Project, Riverside Theatre
in Iowa City, Iowa, and Indiana State University.
As Iris Khalida, she has belly danced at a
wide variety of special events and private
parties in RI and Massachussetts. Amy’s
burlesque alter ego, Lady Miss Iris, appears
regularly at fund raisers and rock shows.
She serves as Associate Producer for singer/actress
Rose Weaver’s independent performance
projects. Amy also teaches acting independently
and through All Children’s Theatre. Additionally,
Amy performs arts education research for RI
Arts Learning Network.
