"The Spiritual Girl”, Amora, has spent many years underground honing her musical vision and craft carefully strategizing her level of exposure . Born and raised in Middletown, CT she recently arrived back to her home state after a decade of living in New York City. She has performed in over 200 shows in NYC alone, and plentiful shows throughout the Northeast, LA, Maryland, PA and Chicago. She has opened unexpectedly for Loon at Webster Hall in NYC and has been featured on Oprah, Showtime at The Appollo, and in Arnold Schwarzenegger's Inner City Games events. True to her renaissance woman style, she is also a writer, actress and model. In 2006 her debut album, “Platinum Heart” was released independently, via the web and retail merchants, by Heiros Gamos Entertainment, a boutique label she founded in 2001, and is spinning all over the world from Australia to the UK to Japan to right here in the USA. Her second album is slated for release in January 2008. She is busy playing out and her musician roster is tailored to fit any venue (also stepping up with other bands as a special guest) appearing at bars, lounges, cafes, nightclubs and festivals all over the USA and just around the corner-with many surprises in store!
Serving as President and CEO of H.G. Ent. LLC she recently launched the national showcase Rise of the Independents from CT and has taken on other business roles of producing, booking, promoting and marketing. Actively involved in the breakthrough Next Big Hit New Indie Music website and its now iTunes Top 100 Podcast, in the Recording Academy programs for children, and chronicled in the upcoming documentary Music...The Movie from Director Melissa Lefton, as well as helping locally with the O'Rourke’s rebuilding effort, she has proven to be a charitable champion of the people.
What makes her successful is experience on both sides of the desk, having worked in A&R for Def Jam and many other independent entertainment organizations. She is known from the streets to the boardroom and her label’s talented allied artists are growing by every moment; her web presence is undeniable. She’s a strong benevolent leader who fights for the children and hopes to put CT on the creative map. She is a revolutionary like her historically famous grandfather, Max Corvo, who was Head of Operations for the O.S.S. in Italy and whose strategic plan was responsible for capturing Mussolini. Raised in a political family known for their strong integrity there’s no telling what this “Diamond in the Rough” is capable of. Only time will tell...
